Its been a while. I hit a stall and was stuck in the 180's for a couple of weeks. That was very frustrating. Today I weighed 178 lbs, so the stall is over. Hallelujah!!! I have become addicted to Sugar Free Popsicles, I eat them all day long. Hopefully the weight is going to keep coming off. Fingers crossed!!

203.8 pounds today!! That's 30 pounds since I began my journey last August. I am 2 weeks post-op now and ready to start pureed foods.

I decided I am going to start posting a motivational quote at least once a day, that way maybe I will remember to post more often. I made myself a food journal and have written tons of motivational quotes all throughout the book, so why not have some on my blog. Here goes...

"Calories (noun) - tiny creatures that live in your closet and sew your clothes a little bit tighter every night."
On March 7th, 2012, I began my pre-operative diet, which consists of foods (purchased from my surgeon's office) that added up to a daily intake of 800-900 calories, <7g sugar, only 30-60g carbs and a LOT of protein. Anyways these are my measurements...

Weight: 227 lbs (my highest weight was around 240, March 2009)
Chest: 45" (Breast: 53-1/2")
Waist: 47-1/2"
Hips: 50"
Neck: 17-1/4"
Arms: 14"
Thighs: 22"
Calves: 15-3/4"

March 19th, 2012 - The evening before my surgery, I decided to have my measurements taken again. This is what they were...

Weight: 214 pounds (holy crap - could not believe that I could lose that much in just 2 weeks)
Chest: 45" (Breasts: 51")
Waist: 48"
Hips: 49-1/2"
Neck: 17"
Arms: 13-1/2"
Thighs: 21-1/2"
Calves: 15-1/2"

And as of today, Sunday, April 1, 2012, (13 days post-op) I weigh 205 pounds. I can not wait until I actually start exercising and watch the pounds disappear!
